A free shuttle bus operates between the Takasu Mountain group ski areas in the region.


Various bus tours are available from the Kansai region.


No shuttle bus service from local train stations is available.

By road

Nearest national route: Route 156 (0.1km away)


Hirugano Kogen is located by the side of Route 156.


The closest exit on the Tokai Hokuriku Expressway is the Hirugano Kogen Smart IC exit.


From the Hirugano Kogen Smart IC exit, head towards Prefecture Road 321. Turn left and follow the road back under the expressway for around 4.5km until reaching Route 156 (Hida Highway). Turn right on Route 156 until reaching Hirugano Kogen, less than 1km further on the right.


The Takasu IC exit is a little over 12km from the ski area base. Turn left at the Takasu IC exit and follow Prefecture Road 45 for just under 3.5km until reaching Route 156 (Hida Highway). Turn right onto Route 156 and continue for about 9km until reaching Hirugano Kogen, which is on the right hand side of the road.

There is parking for 180 vehicles at the ski area and a further 480 vehicles on nearby car parks. Parking is 1,000 yen per car every day of the season.
