The nearest exits on the Tohoku Expressway are Nihonmatsu IC, Motomiya IC and Fukushima Nishi IC (25.3km).
From the Nihonmatsu IC exit turn right onto Route 459 and then within 200m turn right again, remaining on Route 459. This road reaches the Dake Onsen hot spring area after about 8.5km. Turn left onto Prefecture Road 386 and go through the main Dake Onsen area. The road continues on to the base of Adatara Kogen.
