The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here . Good morning from Nozawa. We have had more snow since yesterday. The ski area has reported up to 21cm higher up on the mountain since yesterday. Again, it's perhaps less than we hoped for (or should I say at least less than we were expecting) and with the forecasts continuing to predict snow across the next several days. This morning starts with cloudy conditions. The snow clouds kept well to the north of where we are. We should be getting some over the next few days, though I don't dare to say clearly what we should expect. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . Happy New Year! We do start the year with fresh snow. Yesterday we got more blue sky than we though we would get and the amount of snow not as much as we thought/hoped we would get. The snow clouds tracked further to the north than expected. Still, fresh snow all the same, and forecasts still insisting on consistent snowfall perhaps into early next week. Madarao is reporting 10cm of fresh and I have just measured the same. Come on snow clouds, don't be shy! There is a problem with the Number 1 (C triple) lift and that is not moving this morning. The B line is moving though, so nothing affecting overall operations but there might be some congestion because of that.
