The latest Geto Kogen Now report can be found here . Good morning from Geto Kogen and apologies for the late start. Unfortunately, the winter weather has been rather shy this time round too - in all of Japan. But we have managed to have three days of snow on the ground so far: - Thursday 22nd November: 19cm - Friday 23rd November: 10cm - Saturday 1st December: 15cm There's not much left on the mountain though with the resort reporting 7cm higher up. You can see how things are looking on the photo below too. This morning is cloudy. It is another warm spell, but things should be getting more interesting by the end of the week with snow forecast. Hopefully Geto Kogen might be able to 'get o'-pen soon. (Sorry!) Fingers crossed. The latest Geto Kogen Now report can be found here . Good morning from Geto Kogen. It's Friday 26th April... and the last day of the ski 2023-2024 season at Geto Kogen. The ski area has done everything it can to remain open, with a thin strip of the A1 course making it to today. Otsukaresama deshita to everyone involved. This last season has been a very curious one. Geto Kogen thankfully still got a lot of snow, but we got considerably less snow (and it was less consistent) than what is normally expected. Let us hope that 2024-2025 can be more 'normal'. The story of the season is all there in the archive reports. Use the tabs above for snow data for the season and previous seasons. Thank you for reading the reports.
