It is a sunny start to the day with bluebird sky. The sun should stay until midday, and then it is expected to cloud over.
It is -11c but the day will warm up significantly with the high temperature expected to be -1c late afternoon.
Overnight there has been more snow, and even at town level this is beautiful light dry central Hokkaido powder.
