A snow front arrive yesterday afternoon and continued through until evening depositing 8cm of light powder around the village.

It is snowing heavily and the snow is forecast to continue through the day.

Yesterday was very warm and the snow turned to spring conditions. Today is a return to colder conditions and a good top up of fresh snow.

It is a mild morning with the temperature already -1c and heading for a high of +2c.

Furano received a storm front yesterday that lasted through until evening. That has now passed and today is fine weather.

We received a full day of rain yesterday along with mild temperatures. By evening this turned the roads and footpaths around town into very slippery surfaces.
