It's going to be busy today. After a clearer bit earlier on it is cloudy now - but perhaps clearer again later..?

Wow lots of snow to report this morning. I am measuring 33cm in my usual spot.

Just a little snow to report this morning.

Just a bit of snow at base, perhaps more up on the mountain - where not much can be seen by the looks of the Chuo webcam.

5cm of fresh snow to report and some fairly decent weather this morning.

Great news this morning as I come back in after shovelling myself out of the snow.

Another 10+cm of fresh snow this morning to report.

Good morning from Zao and I have good news... 17cm of fresh snow on the ground.

Still limited but more opening this morning - we now have the upper lifts at the Chuo area and also the Onsen Number 1 pair at Uwanodai and the Utopia Number 2 pair lifts operating.

10+cm of snow on the ground and it is falling this morning - and hopefully through the day.

Snow clouds are over us and light snow is falling.

It was just cloudy earlier on, but it is raining very lightly just now as I write this (and the Chuo area that is open is reporting that too).
