10+cm of snow on the ground and it is falling this morning - and hopefully through the day. There's a fairly moderate wind blowing about, but we're good with that if it means a decent delivery of the white stuff.
Part of the Uwanodai area is now open as the Onsen Number 1 pair lift gets moving for the season.
If this snow continues today I would expect more to open from the weekend. Actually according to the forecasts it looks like there's a chance of clearer skies over the weekend.
