Just a bit more snowfall to report to you this morning.

I was not alone in enjoying a few really good few hours on the mountain yesterday.

I have measured 5cm of really nice quality light snow close to my secret Hirafu base, with Hirafu and Hanazono both reporting 10cm on upper areas.

So it was rather windy yesterday and that means that there's going to be some wind blown conditions this morning.

It doesn't feel as cold as yesterday (to me anyway, perhaps due to it coming in from the south), but I am measuring 17cm of fresh snowfall.

Well, after that spell of rather mild days with temperatures venturing into positive numbers, I am happy to report that it definitely feels colder this morning.

I have a (just about) 1cm dusting of snow to report this morning from base.

The really cold conditions continue, starting the morning with a reading of -12C on my thermometer.

It is another very cold morning. Annupuri are reporting a temperature of -19C up top as of 6:44am. It's -13C here. Brrrrrr.

There were some very, very cold temperatures being reported yesterday - throughout Japan, it seems, but particularly up here in Hokkaido.

I have 14cm of fresh snowfall to report to you this morning.

A decent amount of snowfall overnight and I have measured 17cm of it to report to you this morning here at base.

Yesterday we enjoyed some very nice snow conditions (well, I certainly did!) though some upper lifts were affected by wind and put on hold.

Good news this morning with a decent amount of fresh snowfall on the ground. I have measured 15cm of it and it is light, dry and fluffy.... lovely.
