Today is the last day of operations at Niseko Grand Hirafu and therefore all of the ski lifts here in Niseko.

If you saw my updates yesterday you will know that first up Niseko Annupuri announced that yesterday would be their last day of the season.

Bit of an announcement from me.

And it is another morning of cloud and blue sky. It is rather windy on mountain - at the start of the day the top lift at Hirafu is on hold, as is the Gondola and upper Jumbo 3 lift.

It is another beautiful, clear morning.

It is a kind of hazy looking morning. A bit overcast but some blue sky to just about see and it is quite bright.

And yes we have some fresh snowfall. I have measured 4cm and I note that Niseko Grand Hirafu seem to be talking about 13cm of snowfall on the upper areas of the mountain.

Another light sprinkling of snow down at base and hopefully more higher up on the mountain (and I note that Annupuri seem to be saying 5cm and Hirafu are saying 10cm).

Well, we got some rain yesterday down at base yesterday with some snow higher up, and this morning.

This morning there is quite a lot of cloud around but blue sky too and the sun is currently shining through my window.

There is more thin cloud around this morning but some light blue sky on show and it should be another mild day.

I have had my toast and a bit of a walk outside. The sun is out and it is indeed a lovely morning.

A few cm of snow on the ground this morning and it feels colder.

There has been a bit of a dusting of snow overnight (I can just about justify recording 1cm) and it is a mostly cloudy morning.
