Well, yesterday was one of the best-forgotten kind of day, and this morning we do have snow... but not a whole lot really.

10cm of new snow at Kagura this morning and about 5cm here in Naeba.

After that lovely day out there yesterday, and indeed some fine conditions to be enjoyed, this morning is a more cloudy start.

This morning should be great out there. After the snow of yesterday, and lots of the runs being untouched due to being closed yesterday.

It was indeed a fine morning out yesterday and afternoon as well.

Santa has been kind to us and delivered another 10-20cm of fresh snow since yesterday.

As I munch on my Christmas cake and fried chicken - it is today we are supposed to eat it, isn't it? - I see snow, and lots of it.

We didn't avoid the rain completely yesterday unfortunately, but quickly looking to the good news Kagura this morning are reporting 20cm of new snowfall.

It is a mild morning here but happily we seem to have avoided rain and this morning light (wet) sleet/snow is falling, though there's no new cm to report.

The sun was out early on yesterday but it didn't last the day - I present evidence of 5-15cm of new snow here in Naeba (10cm or so under my feet this morning) and 30-40cm of new snow up at Kagura.

The sun is out! While it is still snowing to the north this morning, here in Naeba and above Kagura the sun is out and the skies are clearing up.

I think this morning the news is better than expected. Up to 30cm of fresh snow being reported from Kagura this morning along with a nice cold temperature of -10C.
