Naeba Now: Thursday 27th February 2020
18cm of fresh snow down at base; more up on the mountain.
Naeba Now: Monday 24th February 2020
Well, Day 2 of the World Cup event here at Naeba was cancelled yesterday. Strong windy conditions just didn't allow it to happen. At one point just one lift was operating.
Naeba Now: Sunday 23rd February 2020
The World Cup event today has been cancelled due to the bad weather conditions. (It was originally delayed, but now cancelled).
Naeba Now: Wednesday 19th February 2020
Early morning there's some light snow, cloud and some blue sky too. Maybe it will clear up.
Naeba Now: Tuesday 18th February 2020
It is good to see fresh snowfall this morning. Not a huge amount, 8cm being measured, but fresh snow all the same.
Naeba Now: Tuesday 11th February 2020
It might be Tuesday, but it's a national holiday and so we can probably expect a busy Naeba today.
Naeba Now: Monday 10th February 2020
Some lift disruption on a busy Sunday yesterday, but things are calmer this morning.
Naeba Now: Sunday 9th February 2020
Lots of fresh snow. Wind is blowing it around so perhaps the 22cm I can report is a bit low.
Naeba Now: Saturday 8th February 2020
It's back to the snow this morning. It started from early on and we can hope for perhaps a decent amount over today and tomorrow.
Naeba Now: Friday 7th February 2020
It's a very cold morning and the sun is out.
Naeba Now: Thursday 6th February 2020
It is snowy and windy. I think the wind might have something to do with the fact that I am reporting 18cm this morning.
Naeba Now: Tuesday 4th February 2020
Just a little snow down at base here (I note that Kagura resort is reporting 5cm), but we are expecting more from tomorrow.
Naeba Now: Sunday 2nd February 2020
A bit of left over snow since my morning report yesterday and this morning there is a lot of cloud around but some blue sky too and a bit of sunshine at times.
Naeba Now: Saturday 1st February 2020
I can report 12cm from base; the resort is actually reporting 30-40cm of fresh snowfall on the mountain which is great to hear.
