Independent snow and weather reporting from the Naeba region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 18cm
Snowfall at base this season 228cm

Good morning from Naeba.

It is snowy and windy. I think the wind might have something to do with the fact that I am reporting 18cm this morning... thought it would be more, and it is more in places.

Just 4 lifts operating at the moment due to the conditions. That may change as conditions do. So it's a changeable situation this morning and a chat with the resort is recommended.

Tomorrow should be clearer.

The Audi FIX Alpen Ski World Cup 2020 event will be held at Naeba on 22nd and 23rd February.
