Another mild day today; there's a fog advisory out there but visibility is pretty good up to the hill (the ski area itself is obscured). Should get clearer through the day, though.

It's a beautiful morning in Myoko with magnificent blue skies over the (also magnificent) mountain.

It's an interesting day when you get as much snow in the Kubiki Alps — another name for our mountains in Myoko — as in Tokyo.

A sunnier morning today after our ongoing snow show. Just a dusting of fresh, and some blue skies to start the day.

Very quick snow number report rather one being missed.

A modest amount of snow but more on the way today. Suginohara and Ikenotaira both report 10cm (up to 15cm at Suginohara).

More snow to report this morning. Varied numbers too with Seki Onsen reporting a round 50cm, Lotte reporting 32cm and both Ikenotaira and Suginohara reporting 20cm.

It's a stunner with blue skies and sunshine. A contrast to the crazy snow of recent days and a truly great morning to see Myoko at its best.

This is an end of the year for the record books! I know you’re not going to believe the snow total—I don’t believe the snow total.

A sunny day yesterday, at least most of the day, and not overly warm, either!

We have a day of sun and blue skies after our multiple days of snowfall.

Another foot-plus day of fresh out there (for those who can think in Imperial numbers, which I hardly can any more).
