After the celebrations of last night, the sun was out earlier this morning with a lot of blue skies over Madarao, but it has since clouded over and we may get snow soon. Hopefully.

We didn't escape the wet yesterday in the end and the damage that brings but lets try to put that behind us (he types grumpily) and bring the better news... 10cm of new snow this morning.

All the doom and gloom about rain have not eventuated this morning, although it is very warm for this time of year.

There has been more snow at Madarao overnight, resort reporting 15-25cm on the mountain. It is a relatively mild morning and will be all weekend.

It was a beautiful day yesterday. The sun was out all day but temperatures remained low.

All change once again. Beautiful clear skies over Madarao this morning and everywhere is looking picture perfect gorgeous with another 15-20cm of fresh snowfall since yesterday.

Heavy snow since yesterday and another 30-40cm to report this morning from Madarao.

After the excitement of snowy-ness of yesterday, the weather decides to bring us an all blue sky start to the day at Madarao.

How do you like the sound of 50-70cm of new snow this morning? Yep, thought so!

Lets be honest - yesterday was not good. It was misty, slushy, rainy and any other word you want to use ending with 'y' and having some slightly unpleasant undertones.

We have been greeted this morning by light rain and cloud.

Snow clouds moved in yesterday and this morning we have 10-15cm of fresh snow on the ground in Madarao.

Add a bit more fresh snow, some blue skies above and you get a very nice day to be out on the mountain.

Some decent snowfall to report this morning from Madarao with 25-30cm or so of fresh snow on the slopes.
