Ho ho ho! Seasons greetings from Hakuba.

It's Christmas weekend and Hakuba is doing great!

Ski areas this morning generally reporting 5-10cm of fresh snow, with Cortina coming in with 15-20cm.

Up to 5cm of fresh snow is being reported at both Happo-one and 47 this morning, and it seems to be snowing in upper areas.

More of Happo-one now open, and the run back down to base at Tsugaike also now available.

It is snowing very nicely at the moment, but with limited visibility.

The recent snowfall is allowing more and more to open.

There's a whole lot going on this morning and a bit difficult to take it all in!

Yesterday was a good day for snowfall. We had that big number being reported by Happo-one.

There was some snow falling yesterday morning down in the village, though it didn't last long and it got a bit wet at times.

It is a beautiful start to the weekend with clear blue skies and bright sunshine. It is a very fine day to be out skiing or snowboarding.

It's fine and sunny with some cloud around the mountains. 1C. Tomorrow should be nice too. And then, snow on Sunday.

We have had some more light snow in the village.
