After the fine and sunny start to the day yesterday, things started to get more cloudy by late morning and by mid afternoon it was mostly grey and cloudy.

A fine day again yesterday weather-wise, just getting warm and toasty once again leaving us with fairly wet and heavy snow conditions on lower areas in particular.

Hello and good morning from Hakuba where we have a bit more fresh snow and hoping for some decent snowfall during the day today.

We did have light snow falling yesterday morning but there's just 1cm of fresh to report from here at base, with resorts reporting a few cm on average on mountain.

It was very warm up on the mountain even yesterday. Hakuba 47 said that as of 3pm at 1450m, it was 9C.

Hakuba Cortina is reporting 80cm (eighty) of fresh snow this morning and all of the major resorts reporting numbers above 50cm, there's been over 30cm down in the village too.
