Quickly forgetting the bit of rain we got before it turned into the good stuff, I have good snow news this morning!

Early seasons are exciting - but difficult and time consuming for yours truly... there is a lot of information to check, gather and put together.

Snow was falling through the day yesterday on the mountains and quite heavily at times too.

There was a bit of wind and light snow falling when I was up at Hakuba Goryu in the afternoon.

It was a snowy day yesterday the snow has eased off for this morning.

Yesterday was a really beautiful day to be outside and on the mountain.

Excellent news to report this morning with decent snowfall down to the village.

And there's some fresh snow to report this morning

Snow started falling in the afternoon yesterday and this morning I am measuring 9cm of fresh snowfall.

More snow, more lifts and more courses.

Hello from Hakuba and it's a snowy morning here.

Season In! Happo-one were reporting 60cm of snowfall on the mountain this morning and they opened at 9:30am.

Just a little bit more (wet) snow to report here at base, and good to see and hear about more up on the mountains.
