Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 2cm
Snowfall at base this season 6cm

Posted on Monday 20th November 2017 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Just a little bit more (wet) snow to report here at base, and good to see and hear about more up on the mountains.

Down here around the village the fields are partly covered with snow; kind of like a speckled look going on there!

There will hopefully be some new cm to report down to village by tomorrow morning though after that I think we should be expecting milder temperatures for a short while and maybe some sunshine into the mix as well.

No official word yet on what might be opening come Thursday. We'll post any news for you here, of course!
