The wet feel to proceedings yesterday made way to proper snow I'm happy to report.

Not the most friendly of early morning conditions here with wind and kind of wet conditions with a mix of rain, sleet or snow depending on where you are.

It is a very cold start to the day here. My thermometer outside saying -8C.

I was out on 47/Goryu yesterday where it was snowing and pretty windy at times.

I have 34cm to add to the report.

It's a fairly easy report this morning. Pretty much everywhere is open and busy for the New Year.

After all those snowy and windy conditions, things seem a bit calmer this morning...

More snow to report this morning after a snowy and windy day yesterday. It's building up very nicely now.

You want fresh snow. We got snow!

Lots of strong wind yesterday which ended up affecting lifts. It was one of those days that is probably best reserved for a soak in the onsen.
