There has been a further 3cm of snow since yesterdays report.

A snow front arrive late yesterday afternoon and with a drop in temperature snow started to settle across Furano.

The snowfall report kicks off today with 2cm of accumulation on the ground in the village.

Furano Ski Area is now closed for the season.

Today the wind is severe and you will need to check with the resort for the latest status of lift operations.

It is a spring Saturday with temperatures sitting on a warm +4c and will go up to a high of +9c.

There is a couple of centimetres of fresh snow on the ground this morning.

Yesterday there was a further 15cm of snow during the day, and the village once again looks like a winter postcard.

It would be hard to better this morning's conditions.

It is -4c and will increase to a high of -1c.

Some morning valley fog is rolling down the resort - and looks like it may lift soon.

Conditions are high cloud this morning with some snow expected mid afternoon.

The temperature has risen from -6c this morning and is now a pleasant -1c.

It is a winters looking day with a slow trickle of powder flakes coming down from the sky.
