It would be hard to better this morning's conditions. There was a snow front overnight that has blanketed the area in 14cm of fresh snow. The sky is clear and sunny - this will give way to more cloud later in the morning and then snow is expected in the afternoon. Conditions are calm with no wind.
Unfortunately the Kitanomine side is now closed for the season with lower base depth 120cm, and upper depth of 211cm - with cool temperatures and the spring melt not setting in yet, Kitanomine had excellent conditions right through until closing. From today onwards, only the Furano Zone will be operating through until the end of season.
Kitanomine Zone CLOSED FOR SEASON
Furano Zone OPEN
