Yesterday there was a further 15cm of snow during the day, and the village once again looks like a winter postcard. Today is very mild, already -1c, and heading for a high of +3c. Kitanomine Zone is now closed for the season but there is plenty of great skiing still to be had on the Furano Zone. Spring looks to be arriving this week with the high temperatures for the rest of the week well into the positives, and rain expected at the weekend.
