A snow front arrive late yesterday afternoon and with a drop in temperature snow started to settle across Furano. The roads are now a blanket of white and there is around 3cm on the ground. It is -8c in town and will stay cool through the day going to a high of -5c. Moderate wind gusts are present and it is a clear day with part cloud.
Furano Ski Area is still waiting for more snow to commence operation for the season.
