With the spring weather in full force now the landscape has changed from one of pure white to one of vivid green growth in the fields and the colourful pinks of the cherry blossoms. Winter is over!

Snow cover remains very good on the upper areas and you can still ski top to bottom as we head into "Golden Week" though there's some ground on show on some lower areas.

Presently we have strong NW winds and the occasional flurry of snow. The temperature at base is 3 degrees.

The view from the town looking toward the resort this morning is just picture perfect with not a cloud to be seen over the mountain.

Overnight saw 2cm of fresh snow fall in the village.

A pleasant day abounds in Furano with some nice blue sky and sunshine.

Yesterday the rain did eventuate and hung around for a few hours, but didn't detract many from enjoying themselves on the mountain.

Good morning to another fine spring like day in Furano.

Conditions are just looking perfect this morning.

It is a perfect Sunday with clear views over the town through to Mt Tokachi in the distance.

The day is looking really good out there with a whopping 9cm of light powder in the village overnight.

The morning started out very sunny with nice blue skies.

Temperatures overnight have remained well below freezing and there is a light layer of 2cm of fresh powder snow in the village.

It is a blue sky day with some cloud mixed in, and the resort looks great sparkling in the sun.
