Well, after the somewhat disappointed tone of yesterday, it's all change again this morning. This is more like it!

Windy conditions continue, but lifts are all up and running as scheduled.

The most fresh snow being reported by a ski area this morning is again Cortina, reporting a very nice 50+cm. Goryu and 47 are reporting 30cm on mountain.

The snow did indeed arrive and it's pretty wild out there early morning.

More snow. Not quite as much today but another solid nearly 15cm.

So, heavy snow it is!

This is good old proper snow country mid-winter weather!

It's difficult to make wider-picture comments at the moment, as forecasts and the reality are often differing.

We’re back on with snow! Not a lot yet, but it’s coming down nicely now, and looks to keep coming more heavily for two days, at least.
