The snow did indeed arrive and it's pretty wild out there early morning.
Another of those mornings when there's anywhere between 30-60cm of snowfall, depending on where you look.
Very early morning Yakebitaiyama was reporting 40cm. There will have been a fair bit more than that since then for sure.
I think 50cm is fairly representative at this point in time. Basically, a lot. With the wind blowing it around.
Wind is also affecting lifts so for those brave enough to want to be out in this check with ski area for latest.
Tomorrow should be calmer and amazing conditions for lucky people here.
(The Yokoteyama ski area official snow depth of 80cm is just too funny!)
