I hope you won't get bored with this but this morning the ski area reports another 50cm of fresh snow and I can report 35cm down at base.

Cloudy skies but quite bright at the moment down here.

Good morning to you all from a still-snowy and cold Niseko.

The ski area this morning is reporting yet another 57cm of snowfall, and I can report 34cm from base.

At the time of writing lots of cloud but some bright spots both at base and higher up.

I have just had a word with Naski, who is a very happy vegetable this morning.

Snow! Finally, a true Myoko morning with the cars transformed into rounded mounds.

It's cold out there! Snowy too!

While the ski area is reporting 40cm, I have measured 46cm since yesterday. Excellent.

It's a cold and snowy mid-winter style morning, I am happy to report.
