I’ve been expecting to see a notice from Lotte Arai on the last day, but no official notice yet.

Tsugaike did very well to keep open until today. There was even a sprinkling of fresh snow up there overnight into Tuesday morning. We have a fine morning to end the season.

It is a fine and sunny Wednesday morning with some cloud hanging around. It's also the last day of the Golden Week holidays and the last day of the official ski season here in Nozawa Onsen.

Yesterday was the last day for the Tashiro Area of Kagura. By the looks of the webcam images, visibility was very limited for the day.

It actually looks like there has been some fresh snow at higher elevations. Perhaps up to a few cm or so in places? (None lower down).

Well, there has been a sprinkling of snow!

Is it really "Golden Week"?!? Certainly doesn't feel like it with the weather we have got this time round.

It's wet this morning and we expect rain during the day. Visibility looks limited up at Kagura.

This morning is... wet. With limited visibility up on the open areas, it's really not very nice.

I haven’t heard any official word on when Lotte Arai plans to close, but based on reports from people who’ve been there that the days are numbered.
