Lots of cloud when I first got up earlier but there is quite a lot of blue sky now... going to be a fine day. It is cold too at the start of the day.

How about this then? A return to winter with a good 15cm of fresh snow on the ground; also a bit of a wind and limited visibility.

Between the fine weather yesterday and this morning there was some fresh snow. Naeba itself is reporting 10-15cm on the mountain and I can report an additional 4cm at base.

Just about 1cm of snow to report from base this morning with snow falling as I type this. Hopefully we will get more in the coming days.

The resort is reporting 10cm of fresh snowfall at base and 20cm higher up. Down here at base I can see 5-10cm.

The snow has eased off after depositing another 8+cm or so. The sun is out. There's some blue sky but quite a lot of fast moving cloud at the moment.

Well, Day 2 of the World Cup event here at Naeba was cancelled yesterday. Strong windy conditions just didn't allow it to happen. At one point just one lift was operating.

The World Cup event today has been cancelled due to the bad weather conditions. (It was originally delayed, but now cancelled).
