A bit of new snow on the courses this morning as the day starts with the sun out and the prospect of a warm up today.

Some more fresh snow this morning so good timing for the weekend. Blue skies above Madarao Kogen as well early on and so it should be a fine morning out there.

A bit more like winter this morning and a bit of new snow on the ground as well. Up to 5cm where I was at base and the resort is saying up to 10cm on the slopes.

Morning from Madarao and to start the day off it's kind of sunny, and I don't think it's cloudy - more like thick haze.

What can I say? Blue skies again over Madarao, but that delivery of fresh snow overnight. Lovely groomed courses, untouched powder in the trees.

Back to snow this morning and about 15cm to report (resort saying 15-20cm on the slopes) and after temperatures warming up a bit yesterday afternoon we're back to very cold conditions this morning.

The great early March 2014 continues with at least another 20cm of fresh snow on the ground and the resort reporting up to 30cm on the slopes.

It's going to be a great day today. New snowfall? Check. About 20cm.

After the not quite as nice yesterday, this morning is a much better picture.

Wet snow falling this morning and quite mild. Better than wet rain for sure, and actually quite big 'flakes' as well just now, and more snow is on the way... hopefully of the more powdery kind.

Cold night last night. Lots of frosting on the trees this morning but it's blue clear skies up above.

A few cm of fresh snow this morning and lots of cloud again. Light snow on and off for the morning forecast but it might clear up later on.

A small delivery of fairly heavy (consistency) snow overnight and 5cm or so on the mountain according to the resort.

We are starting the day as we did yesterday with thick fog making it difficult to see anything. It is -1 degrees at 8am.
