Just 5cm or so of fresh since yesterday to report this morning and once again this morning there's a thick bank of cloud over the top half of the mountain with clearer conditions lower down.

The top of the mountain is covered in a grey cloud at the moment, but nothing is falling out of it! It's just cloudy for now.

We couldn't escape the rain yesterday unfortunately, but happily it fairly quickly turned into snowfall and this morning theses a nice (up to) 20cm or so of white fluff on top to freshen things up out on the mountain.

Resort reporting 5-10cm of fresh snow on the slopes of the mountain this morning, just a few cm where I am here.

Trying to avoid obviously hype-like adjectives but really what more could we want than yet another 40+cm of snowfall.

20-30cm more snow on the mountain this second day of the year, and some blue skies as well above Madarao.

So here we are already at the last day of the year.

Very light snow as I write this and generally cloudy conditions. Foggy up there maybe?

And yet more snow falls. 30-40cm of it in fact.

Madarao reporting 40-50cm of fresh on the mountain this morning. I reckon it might even be more with what fell yesterday, but whichever way you look at it it's just lots of fresh powder to play in.

Good snowfall to report this morning from Madarao. Nice and cold, nice light snow, and still coming down.

Great to see over 30cm of fresh snow this morning. The resort is reporting 30-40cm fresh fluffy white stuff to play in.

Mild this morning and more cloud than we had yesterday which ended up being really fine.
