20-30cm more snow on the mountain this second day of the year, and some blue skies as well above Madarao. Some cloud still but it's definitely a good start to the day. Very cold. Early tracks should be awesome too.
Forecast says more snow due later on so those snow clouds should be back. It shouldn't be as cold from Sunday as well.
The resort is talking about a new item for New Year called PowArch located at the top of Powderwave II. Instructions are to shout Pow Pow when you use it. Now you know! Certainly looks worth a try anyway.
