Madarao Kogen reporting up to 30cm of fresh in places on the mountain; more like half of that on the cars and outside my place at base.

Very fine blue skies above us this morning with just a bit of white cloud here and there. Another cold start.

Yesterday was one better forgotten in the big picture (smaller picture too actually!)... rain is not fun in mid winter.

What a great day it was yesterday. Maybe not absolutely perfect powder conditions, but the weather was amazing and I can't imagine people not enjoying it out there.

Snow for pretty much all of the day yesterday as it turned out with 15cm of fresh on the runs according to the resort.

Yesterday was... disappointing. Rain. We don't like rain. It's rubbish.

It's a cold snowing morning here in Madarao with snow still falling on top of that 35+cm of fresh snow on the ground. Resort reporting 40cm of fresh.

Just a thin layer of snow this morning and resort is saying 2cm of fresh.

Pretty wild conditions yesterday at times, though those Powder Wave Session guys did their best gambaru.

Snow haul of 10-15cm on the slopes apparently this morning here in Madarao.

So yes we got some snow overnight, the resort this morning reporting 20cm of fresh.

There's a bit of blue sky early this morning along with cloud. A nice day ahead of us?

Here I am with a later report this morning. 40cm of fresh snowfall does that.
