Temperature was -1C at 8am when I stumbled out to check. There was about a 2 millimitre dusting evident.

It's still around -3C at the Sorachi River, so with our light cloud cover, it would be around -6 at the top

We have been to the mountain and can give you an update. Had a few runs, did a few turns.

Furano resort up and running today

Gluggy, sleety, wet, cold and overcast today.

Winter has certainly arrived in Furano. And it's as if she never left.

Very white outside right now with about 7cm of snow has fallen since our last report.

Snow flakes are falling on my head.

Welcome back for the 2015-2016 winter season.

The lifts have stopped moving signifying the end of the winter 2014/15 season.

Glorious spring weather surrounds the resort today with no clouds in sight and warm temperatures.

The rain front came through yesterday and delivered a significant amount of rain to the resort.

We awoke this morning to find the whole village under a light blanket of white.

Surprise to wake to snow this morning as it wasn't expected till later tonight.
