Got some more snow overnight. Starting to pile up around town.

Quite the international New Year's scene here in Furano.

Things are looking great today. Only 10 cm so far, but there is a "Heavy Snow Advisory" in effect for the whole day today.

It snowed most of the day yesterday, and it's been snowing quite steadily for the last several hours.

Quite cold today. Supposed to snow some tomorrow, but not a major dump.

We're getting there, just not very quickly. Another 9 cm overnight.

Santa visited Furano overnight on his way home and dropped off 10 cm of snow, which was really nice of him.

Bad news first again: Only 1, one, ichi, uno, eins, centimeter of snow.

The second run off Lift E is now open. Now you can go skier's right OR left from the top.

Not much change from yesterday. Light dusting, good temps, happy customers.

Overnight was Brrrrrrrrr chilly! It got down to -19 C!

Nice and cold, a dusting of new snow, and the overall snow quality on the runs is excellent.
