Happy New Year!! あけましておめでとう! (Japanese)

Onnellista uutta vuotta. (Finnish)

Šťastný nový rok. (Czech)

Gleðilegt nýtt ár. (Icelandic)

Bliadhna mhath ùr. (Scottish)

Quite the international New Year's scene here in Furano. Just this morning I've spoken to folks from all the countries listed above. The Europeans are here!

As far as snow goes, we got a 7 whopping cm since yesterday morning. Temps are cold. Conditions are great.

For some mysterious reason, the Furano zone magic carpet is closed today. Probably tired from the fireworks last night.

All lifts open except both magic carpets.

Night skiing in both Furano and Kitanomine until 7:30 PM.
