New snowfall at base 3cm
Snowfall at base this season 511cm
Posted on Tuesday 11th February 2014 This is an archived report. The latest Yuzawa Now report can be found here.
Periods of sun yesterday but mostly it was cloudy and we even got a bit of wet snow falling later on in the afternoon and evening. Result is a few cm or so on the ground this morning.
Kagura are reporting 5-10cm, while resorts around town reporting up to 5cm or so.
There's a lot of cloud around this morning but as I am writing this report the sun is peeking through as well and there is more and more blue patches of sky opening up before us. The forecast had cloud clearing up later on in the day so perhaps it's just happening sooner than expected.
Tomorrow should be clear and sunny from early on in the day.
The next decent snowfall is forecast for the weekend.
