The sun did make it out at times yesterday but it ended up being more cloudy than was forecast for most of the day.
I said that today was due to be dry as well, though this morning we were actually greeted to a thin layer of new snow and it is snowing lightly as we approach 9am. Some local forecasts are still insisting on just cloud through the day today, but I'm hoping this snow might stick around.
Resorts are reporting just a dusting up to a few cm of snow, with Kagura reporting 0cm.
It is currently -2 degrees in town.
The weekend is still looking good for snowfall.
