Mixed conditions over Shiga Kogen this morning. The sun was out a while back but now it is back to snowing and grey clouds.
Anyway most resort areas now are (at least part) open and it kind of feels like today is the main start to the season for the region as a whole. Still not 100% but there's more than enough terrain on offer.
Still we do need more snow as it's fairly thin on the ground in lots of places. Today should bring snowfall and overnight into Sunday and so let's see what tomorrow morning looks like.
A lot of cars on their way up to Shiga Kogen this morning - long weekend with Monday as a holiday.
