Yesterday was the last day of the season for the Kumanoyu ski area.
That leaves just a few lifts at Yokoteyama and Shibutoge remaining open for skiing/snowboarding.
In the fine tradition of official information being more complicated than it really needs to be (!), here's what seems to be the situation as of now:
Yokoteyama Number 2 Sky triple lift: until 18th May
Yokoteyama Number 4 pair lift: until late May
Shibutoge pair lift: until 25th May
(I think!)
Weather is still variable and not settled, and the coming week seems to be more of the same.

All of the other ski areas in Shiga Kogen are now closed.
