Today is the last day of operations for the Yokoteyama Number 2 lift.
From tomorrow, we'll be down to two lifts still open:
Yokoteyama Number 4 pair lift: until late May
Shibutoge pair lift: until 25th May
The snow might be getting limited on those remaining few slopes, but there are still people keen to keep on going as long as possible.
The Shibutoge lift should be open until next Sunday and Yokoteyama might be open beyond that. I'll post again when there's any further news to report.
In other news, the section of Route 292 connecting Shiga Kogen with Kusatsu in Gunma will finally be able to full open from Thursday 22nd May. That's good to hear - it is about a full month later than planned (due to snow slide).
