New snowfall at base 1cm
Snowfall at base this season 382cm

Posted on Friday 9th February 2024 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.

We got to enjoy some sunshine during the day yesterday and this morning we have a light dusting around base areas.

I'm too early for the info from the ski area this morning [*updated below]

It's a cloudy start to the day with some forecasts telling us to expect some more sun again during the day. Others say just cloud. There are already a few small breaks in the clouds in places, actually.

Tomorrow night is still looking good for the chance of some decent snowfall, going through into Sunday morning. (As has been the general pattern this season, it doesn't look like it will last long, fading out on Sunday).

Remember, Monday is a national holiday. It's going to be a busy weekend ahead!
