Hello and good morning from Nozawa.
Just a thin layer of snow around this morning and the same being reported from up top. There is still quite a lot of cloud around but it feels like today might clear up. It should be a fine day to be out on the mountain.
Heavy snow is due once again probably starting from later in the day or tonight tomorrow. Things might get windy too. Interestingly we don't seem to have had as much windy conditions going on this season so far, even when it was snowing heavily. That might change for the upcoming delivery!
Fresh snowfall recorded by the resort (since yesterday morning):
- Yamabiko (1407m): 2cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 3cm
- Hikage (660m): 2cm
- Nagasaka (615m): 2cm
