It is a beautiful morning in Nozawa, different from yesterday for sure with that wet stuff falling from the sky. Yes it was raining yesterday down below, but happily those naughty rain clouds have moved on and this morning the sun is out and blie skies all round.
Resort lift operations remain unchanged as we wait for a decent snowfall to kick things off proper. It looks like we might soon be getting that. There is some very heavy snowfall forecast for the weekend and into Monday, and if it comes off then we will certainly quickly be seeing a lot more of the lifts moving. Fingers crossed.
If you plan to be here over the weekend come prepared for snow, cold temperatures and possibly strong winds as well.
I'll keep you posted.
