No new snow to report this morning and actually the sun is out and doing it's shining thing and we have quite a lot of blue sky to enjoy. It's a cold one as well with a temperature of -11C up at Yamabiko as of 8am. Temperatures in the village are hovering around 0C.
Two bits of good news for the weekend. The confirmed one is that from tomorrow, more of Nozawa Onsen plans to be open with the Uenotaira run opening up and presumably the quad lift servicing it. The other bit of 'news' is what we are hoping will be news.... heavy snow. We might see some snow falling by the end of today but tommorrow and Sunday are still set to bring us decent snowfall as well as potentially strong winds. The snow should continue into next week.
Fingers crossed everyone!
