Well yesterday we got some sunshine in the afternoon and increasingly blue skies up there. Made for a fine day on the slopes especially with that new snow.
This morning there's not a massive amount of new snow, around 10cm down at base areas, though interestingly the resort is reporting 26cm at Uenotaira (since yesterday morning) and 12cm on Yamabiko...
It is snowing at the moment but likely to ease off as the day goes on. Maybe we might get some clearer skies again like yesterday?
Sun from the get go is forecast for tomorrow, before more snow on Tuesday.
Fresh snowfall recorded by the resort (since yesterday afternoon):
- Yamabiko (1407m): 12cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 26cm
- Hikage (660m): 11cm
- Nagasaka (615m): 12cm
- Karasawa (563m): 6cm
