It is snowing early morning but the forecasts tell us that it should clear up and there is a good chance that there will be sunshine later on - though it should be keeping cold today and overnight.
10-16cm of snowfall being reported on the upper areas of the mountain this morning so that is a good start to this last weekend of the February.
Warming up again tomorrow with early morning sunshine.
Fresh snowfall recorded by the resort (since yesterday afternoon):
- Yamabiko (1407m): 10cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 16cm
- Hikage (660m): 5cm
- Nagasaka (615m): 5cm
- Karasawa (563m): 2cm
Official snow depth numbers (reported by the ski area):
- Yamabiko (1407m): 320cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 245cm
- Hikage (660m): 165cm
- Nagasaka (615m): 155cm
- Karasawa (563m): 120cm
