As I write this report it is snowing quite heavily outside. It's not giving up just yet!


Sunshine is forecast for tomorrow, and for perhaps much of this week.


Look out for the cold to ease off too, particularly later in the week as we approach the weekend.


Fresh snowfall since yesterday afternoon as reported by the ski area:

Yamabiko: 13cm

Uenotaira: 10cm

Hikage: 9cm

Nagasaka: 9cm

Karasawa: 5cm


Official snow depth numbers (reported by the ski area):

Yamabiko: 440cm

Uenotaira: 385cm

Hikage: 315cm

Nagasaka: 315cm

Karasawa: 230cm


Lifts & courses:

All scheduled lifts are operating as planned

The Utopia pair lift and Challenge pair lift are normally closed on weekdays


Night skiing:

Scheduled for every Saturday until 22nd March 2025 on the Nagasaka area (and also on 23rd February 2025)
