New snowfall at base 24cm
Snowfall at base this season 758cm

Good morning from Nozawa.

A good layer of fresh snow on the slopes this morning. The resort is reporting 15-21cm of snow overnight since yesterday afternoon.

There's still a lot of cloud about this morning but over towards Madarao there's blue skies. It feels like we might get some of that, there are hints of brighter skies as the earlier snow has eased off.

A high chance of clearer weather tomorrow but unlike the weekend we just had it will hopefully be keeping colder even with some sun.

Beyond tomorrow, perhaps some snow on Friday but back to sun over the weekend again.

All a bit up and down at the moment, what often happens rumblings of a changing of the seasons...

Let me just add that Nozawa plans to be open until 9th May. So we got well over 2 months left!
